Digital Style Advice – LGFG Fashion House

There’s way too much style-advice circling around us: magazines, websites, phone apps, television shows etc. But as we know – our brain usually blocks an overflow of information. So we’ve decided to give you a little help in how to find style advice the quickest, besides this blog which would be our number one recommendation, of course.

1. Instagram

There are so many amazing style pages on Instagram. This is the quickest social media app that exists for this sort of thing. It’s not only about sharing pictures of your lunch or funny snaps of your cat (although yeay!) This platform is filled with fashion and style inspiration for men (and women) of all ages and tastes! Not only have global brands flocked to the social media network since its inception back in 2010, but the very best menswear bloggers and street style photographers can also be found amongst its millions of profiles. And as the saying goes: a picture can tell more than a thousand words, how true is that? Seeing a stylish picture can give you so many ideas and inspiration to create your own excellent look!

With over 300 millions of users it could be difficult to filter the most stylish ones, so we will give you a little help in here also:

* @lgfg_fashion_house (Where else to start than LGFG Fashion House’s own Instagram page where we share stylish looks to get you inspired and also pictures of our stylish customers with their amazing LGFG bespoke suits.)

* @mrphilgreen (Phil Green is the man who showcases what it means to be a modern gentleman. He is rarely seen without an immaculately tailored two- or three-piece suit.)

* @IAmGalla (Adam Gallagher is a travel addict with a great style sense! He has the unmatched ability to match his outfit to his surroundings – whether he is chilling in Hong Kong, exploring Montenegro or having a great time in Ibiza.)

* @stevenonoja (Steven Onoja is very artsy style blogger who is based in New York. He likes to infuse a little of the 1950s into his everyday apparel while still looking a modern gentleman. He also knows a thing or two about headwear. His outfits are often perfected with a fedora, beanie or a pork pie hat.)

* @bilalgucluu (Istanbul-based Bilal Güčlü can teach you something about dressing a muscular frame. Seen in exceptionally well-fitting shirts, polos, unlined blazers and slim chinos, his look is semi-formal tailoring at its boldest and best.)

2. “How To Tie a Tie”

The title of this app probably says it all: it is educating men across the globe in the art of tying a tie. Even if you already consider yourself an expert, it will still come in handy as the app also contains advice on other accessories, including pocket squares, scarves and bow ties. Each tutorial is animated, making the learning process even easier. A definite must for any sartorialist.  This app is already used by more than a 10 million gentlemen!

3. Style.com

Style.com is a website for a man who likes to follow trends and always keep his finger on the pulse of menswear fashions. It is often updated with the latest runway images and collections. It is also available as app for your mobile phone – there you can easily find runway show collections that are archived by season and designer. New collections have their own dedicated section which will easily help you find the latest designs first.

4. Mod Man

Mod Man is an app which is probably not for everybody. It specializes for the men who are really into fashion. The app offers an easy way to organize your wardrobe, helping you build looks from the garments you own. Simply snap pictures of your favourite items then create and plan your outfit by placing them side by side in a collage. Its kind of like your own personal look book. It’s also good to use it before some important event – it is so much easier to create a good looking outfit if you can visually see it coming together. It will help you minimize that stressing time in front of mirror.

5. Pinterest

There are hundreds of thousands of pictures circling around on Pinterest. But it is made easier for you to find the pages you are interested in. So you can write to the “search” what you exactly came looking for (there are many themes: cooking, fashion, animals, nature etc.). Just write: mens fashion and it will start suggesting you pages you might be interested in. Really easy way to find an inspiration which is also being used by world famous designers for the same reason! You can find us there also: just type “LGFG Fashion House” to the “search” section.
